WORKING @ HEIGHT SAFETY TRAINING

A comprehensive one-day training course delivered by industry professionals aimed at all television and film production personnel involved in working at height in the studio and on location. Course delegates are taken through all current legislation and industry best guidelines for working safely at height. As part of the course the delegates working as a team are required to construct a working scaffold tower in the studio being guided throughout the process of construction and striking by professional instructors. The delegates are instructed in the industry best practice for rigging lighting safely in the studio lighting grid and for location rigging. The delegates are instructed in the use of the scissor hoist elevated platform and are required to operate it in the studio to complete a number of working tasks in the studio lighting grid. Safe working with ladders is fully covered within this one-day course and candidates are instructed in and required to demonstrate the correct use of all personal protective equipment required for safe working at height.
